Thursday 20th January

Second day in and it was dumping outside!!  We went up to build a powder jump - a short hike off the road. We found an amazing landing yesterday and we are expecting bluebird tomorrow. So we dug for 3 hours and made a cheese wedge. After that we were so cold and freezing! Back in town I saw a wild dear just cruising through the neighbourhood!  So a good dinner and an early night to get me ready for the jump! 

Blue Bird Day!

Early start today with a heavy hike in waist deep powder and we had to dig out our runway. Stoked I bought snow shoes the day before!

It is on! First backcountry jump of the season and we all got some good shots! I was happy with my Back 7 tail and my new trick - switch under flip! Hana went big and did a nice front 3 tail and Kimmy………. She was sending it and landed a double backy!! So stoked we all got a nice powder turn in as well. Happy days!!

The whole crew was stoked and we are looking forward what the rest of the trip has to bring!!
