So I’m now back in civilisation! Finally got internet and cell reception, after being in a hut on an amazing mountain with just powder surrounding us!  See the pictures below!

It was a great trip. We left Ouray and drove to Silverton to meet up with the guide. Silverton is a great little cowboy style town….it looks like a movie set!

There was nice of us in total and had 3 sleds. The hut was 4 miles out and the guide told us that it could be tricky to get there because of the avalanches and wind blown snow! To get the sleds up there we were pretty much digging for two miles and walked most of the 4 miles to get there. But once we arrived on the top there was know regret and worth every step.

We had a fun time up there, we played cards, lit fireworks and played with a shotgun!

And of course some a nice powder runs!
