Friday 25th February - Fun times in Oslo
So after my rail trip in Helsinki, I went to Oslo because Terje had invited me to do The Arctic Challange! So after stressing for 2 days to get my rail board tuned back to be usable on snow, it was on.
The course was really nice and had some big booters in it. On Friday we had the semi finals, I put down my first run clean and scored good. So I was sure for a final spot.
With 2 runs left, I was going to try some different tricks. But that didn’t really work out. I went for a Front 3 on the second jump and ended upside down! I took a hard slam and I thought I was going to break my hip or ribs but lucky I walked away with just some bruises.
So for the final day the sun came out, the course was perfect and a lot of spectators came and watched some sick stuff been thrown down. I got 4th and was happy with that but I only missed podium by 0.4 points which is tot bad. Next time better!
I didn’t do much else in Oslo than just hanging around the hotel and getting my body fixed.
Now I’m having a couple of days off to reset my body and then I’m of to Jackson Hole :-)
I can’t wait for some powder again.
